New Balance, founded in 1906 by William J. Riley, is an American sports footwear brand founded in Boston. Riley was a British immigrant and elements of his British roots can still be found in its branding today. The brand originally set out to produce products for arch support and orthopedic footwear to provide consumers with more comfort and “new balance.” Pictured is the New Balance 997H in Red/Yellow/Teal/White.
